Kidderminster Harriers striker Colin Larkin makes the team after recovering from a hamstring injury in midweek.
Larkin's return means boss Jan Molby can field the same 11 that won 1-0 at Lincoln City on Tuesday night.
Harriers have won their last three league games, a new record for them in their short professional history.
Rushden are unbeaten in 12 games after a disappointing start to the season and they are now in a prime place to challenge for the play-offs one point ahead of Harriers in eighth position.
Manager Brian Talbot had a mini clear-out after their early struggles and now has five new players in striker Scott Partridge, former Walsall winger Paul Hall, midfielder Ritchie Hanlon and loan men Peter Thomson and centre back Barry Hunter.
