PROMISING Westfields full back Paul Price has been attracting the attention of Football League clubs with a series of outstanding displays this season.

Third Division side Swansea have been monitoring the 18-year-old's progress and the teenager has a chance to impress Kidderminster Harriers Jan Molby when the two sides meet in the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup on December 3.

"He's come through the ranks and played for the county youth team and has had a great start to the season," said Westfields chief executive, Andrew Morris.

"Swansea have been watching him and another club that I can't reveal but I think he could make that next stage."

The Herefordshire club has produced a number of talented players over the years and in 1992 sold Alex Sykes to Mansfield Town for £4,000. He is now playing for Nuneaton Borough in the Nationwide Conference.
