BETTA Special Waste Limited has appointed a commercial chemist to join its Worcester-based operation.
Richard Hurdle, aged 27, has spent four years in the waste management industry, as a transfer station chemist and then a technical sales supervisor.
Mr Hurdle's role will be to build on existing relationships with customers of the specialist waste storage and recycling company, as well as developing new links with commercial businesses.
Chemists provide full laboratory services to check, label and treat all waste on arrival at the two-acre Worcester facility, close to Junction 6 of the M5, before it is stored, processed, disposed of or recycled.
