Traffic in Worcester's Henwick Road was stationary for half-an-hour after three vehicles collided on Friday. A driver and three passengers from a taxi were taken to hospital with minor head injuries after the cab, a red Vauxhall Cavalier, and a black Ford Puma were in collision at around 11.35pm.

On Saturday morning another five vehicles collided in the city's Bridge Street - a Nova Futura, grey Vauxhall Astra, black Vauxhall Corsa and silver Rover 414.

One driver was taken to hospital.

That afternoon a 10-year-old girl was in collision with a car on the same street while attempting to cross the road. She was treated for minor injuries.
