A YOUNG Malvern artist is showing off his Christmas exhibition of paintings at The Foal Yard Gallery near Worcester.
The exhibition, called Landscapes, captures the beauty of the Malvern Hills and has been done especially by artist Antony Bridge for the gallery.
The paintings were inspired from photographs or sketches taken while Mr Bridge was out walking and cycling on the Malvern Hills.
Many local visitors to the exhibition will find familiar views of the hills and their favourite walks.
"We find that living in an area of such outstanding and natural beauty a lot of customers would like to have a local landscape," said gallery owner Jeremy Cornwell.
"Antony's work has a contemporary impressionist feel without becoming too abstract or losing sight of the reality of the countryside around him."
Mr Bridge, who is 21, has recently had a number of exhibitions at other venues. The exhibition will be displayed until Monday, December 24, at the Bransford gallery, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
