EX-Kidderminster Harriers defender Shaun Cunnington will make his full debut for Evesham United in their switched Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup quarter-final clash at Ledbury Town tonight (7.45).

Manager Phil Mullen is set to give a number of players a run-out including Matt Pendleton, Scott Mullen, Paul Davies, Dean Roberts, Russell Parmenter and Phil Preedy.

"I wanted Cunnington to have a run-out because Steve Taylor is suspended on Saturday and will be out for three games," said Mullen.

"Tonight's match gives players, who have not featured or who are coming back from injury, a chance to show me what they can do. Ledbury are doing quite well in their league and I'm not taking this lightly."

n Redditch United entertain Solihull Borough in the Worcestershire Senior Cup first round tonight (7.45) but manager Rod Brown admits he has one eye on the weekend's crucial trip to Clevedon Town in the league.

"There's not much pressure tonight, it's just a game we have to get through and I'm missing a few players. I'm more interested in Saturday," he said.

Brown, who has landed Australian striker Craig Hawkins, is due to speak to Chris Homer from Rushall Olympic this week but is doubtful about signing Halesowen's Kerry Giddings. The Reds boss may make a move for the Yeltz' Alfie Carter if the Giddings deal falls through.

n Pershore Town are without Rich-ard Congrave for tonight's Midland Combination Premier Division home clash with Highgate United (7.45).

Work commitments rule him out but boss Dave Connell hopes to sign a midfielder in time for the match.

Jon Gregory, whose hat-trick helped Pershore beat Shirley 5-2, is set to continue while Paul Concannon faces a fitness test on his ankle.

"We have five games in hand and if we could win them it would be a great boost for us," said Connell.

"Highgate are an indifferent side who can be good one week and poor the next but hopefully we can get another win under our belts."
