DROITWICH combustion equipment company, Nu-way, in Vines Lane, has supplied special burners for their Droitwich neighbours, Robert Wiseman Dairies.

Nu-way's 4MW gas burners were part of a £25,000 contract to fire two steam boilers used for process and space heating at the £35m, state-of-the-art facility which opened on Stonebridge Cross Business Park in April this year.

Meanwhile, in BROMSGROVE, specialist land and new homes agent, Dudley Charlton, has reported a 20 per cent increase in turnover for the group in the past 10 months.

David Leslie, managing director of the company, which provides a new homes sales service for Worcestershire builders, believes the market outlook remains healthy despite a few "grey clouds" as a result of redundancies and closures.

Also in BROMSGROVE, Weaver Plc Construction Group, in Worcester Road, has started work on a state-of-the-art dog kennel facility.

Sunnyside Kennels in Coven, Wolverhampton, was bought by Birmingham Dogs' Home last year.

It is now being knocked down and replaced with a facility three times the size, including new sleeping quarters, outside runs, a veterinary clinic, a puppy unit and a re-homing reception.

Weaver Plc was chosen for the job, due for completion by July 2002, because of its "breadth of experience and knowledge".

In KIDDERMINSTER, meanwhile, parcel home-delivery company, Business Express, has invested in 300 new delivery vehicles.

The fleet of LDV Convoys each bear the company's livery of three flying ducks in bowlers hats and carry a 'personalised' number plate with a BX prefix.

The wholly-owned subsidiary of the Littlewoods Retail Group, based at Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, delivers parcels for Boots, WH Smith and others, as well as Littlewoods.
