A CRAFTSMAN plying his trade in Droitwich Spa hopes his new business venture will be a belting success.
Nick Williams has opened the Belt and Bag Shop, in High Street -- his first major retail venture.
He sells a range of leather goods made by leading companies and his own selection of handmade goods.
The 38-year-old has a workshop at the Jinney Ring Craft Centre, off Hanbury Road, near Droitwich.
He set up a business in the Spa to stay close to his regular customers and because he likes the town.
Nick told the Advertiser: "I'm offering a specialist service and believe I have found a gap in the market".
"I create made-to-measure goods and have more than one hundred shades of leather for shoppers to chose from."
The Belt and Bag Shop also offers a repair service and can tackle anything from saddlery to shoes.
Nick said trade has been excellent so far and next year he hopes to introduce a range of Spanish footwear.
