A GROUP of Droitwich Spa students wowed the judges and picked up a prestigious prize at a county music competition.
Elysia Cameron-Price, Elizabeth Jones and Nicola Walmsley, who make up the band Faith, were named joint winners in the ensemble category of the Worcestershire's Young Musician of the Year Awards.
The Droitwich Spa High School pupils shared the award with a quintet from the King's School, in Worcester, at the event held at Huntingdon Hall last Friday night, November 23.
Adrian Uren, a French horn player from the King's School, scooped the prize in the soloist category.
The councillor responsible for culture and community at Worcestershire Council Council, Stephen Clee, said: "Well done to all the talented young people who took part.
"It was quite a superb show."
