Droitwich, needing a win to keep up with the league leaders, met tough opposition from Pershore who are seeking points to avoid the drop.

Droitwich took the lead when they were awarded a penalty flick after Barry Williams was pushed off the ball. Nick Sankey converted for the opener.

Droitwich extended the lead with a goal from Liam Hine following a penalty corner.

But Pershore soon struck back, levelling before the break.

The second half remained goalless with both teams having chances, Pershore being unlucky not to have been awarded a penalty flick late on when Droitwich keeper Mark Gwilliam upended a Pershore attacker.
