THE County fostering and Adoption team is bringing its search for families to Redditch today (Wed Dec 5).
As part of its campaign to attract new carers, the team will visit Batchley First School to plant old Worcestershire varieties of apple and plum trees.
According to Sara Castro of Adoption and Fostering, the trees are a metaphor for children themselves.
The team is interested in hearing from people who would like to adopt older children or children with disabilities or people from ethnic minority backgrounds or who may not have considered adoption before.
