Bromsgrove and Redditch table tennis league leaders Newton Works entertained newcomers West Midland Phones.
Although several games went to best of three, the Newton team of Geoff Cooper, Mark Fiddian and Michael Kendall were too strong coming out 10-0 winners.
Newton Works B had a good win at Astwood Bank 8-2.
Newton captain Gary Jackson had a great night winning all his three games.
John Hunt and Alan Hall supported, winning two each.
Gary and Alan also won the doubles.
David Wood did best for the Bank winning two games.
Closest game of the week in Division One was between Barnt Green A and Droitwich A with the Green winning 6-4.
Mark Cornish was in great form for Barnt Green winning his three, with Steve Hore winning two and Jason McFaul one.
For Droitwich Tony Birch won two and captain Don Evans one before teaming up to win the doubles.
In Division Two Studley Road Nomads had a comfortable 8-2 win at home to Droitwich C, Bernie Leech, Nomads captain, did best, winning all his three games, with team mates Jeff Lines and Gary Steele winning two each. Bernie and Jeff also won the doubles for their eight wins.
