STOKE Prior Bowling Club had a tremendous season with several of their teams and players picking up the silverware.
In the Warwickshire and Worcestershire League, the senior team claimed the Division Seven title, winning 15 of their 22 games.
Captain Bob Hale was delighted with the team's success in what has been a traumatic year for the club off the green.
The Stoke Prior Second team made it a double celebration by securing the Alliance Division Five Championship with 15 wins from 20 games. Charlie Wilkes won the overall league average award.
In the Big Crown Bowling League, Stoke just missed out on promotion having finished third in Division Three but they excelled themselves in cup competitions.
They won the Consolation Cup in dramatic style, overcoming First Division West Warwicks by just 15 shots in the final played at the British Oak.
Stoke also reached the final of the Sid Coldwell Challenge Vase, losing by 20 shots to the Bell Inn, from Harborne.
The village team also reached the final of the Heart of England Senior Cup, losing to high flying Tanworth-in-Arden.
In individual competitions, Colin Mortiboys was runner-up in the Yardley Wood and District Individual Merit and the Jayman Promotions Winter Warmer Event.

Invitation doubles competition: winners Derek Burton/Gerry Gaffeney; runners-up Adrian Jenkins/Colin Mortiboys.
