Anne Smith was the WI adviser at the AGM.
Members had no desire to oust the president Lynn Parr or secretary Menai Watkins from the jobs they have done so well and efficiently for the past 12 months.
Jenny Ashmore has joined the committee, otherwise unchanged.
The treasurer's report was very good, having had a number of skittles evenings, car boot stalls and a coffee morning.
Thanks to these events and the grant from the parish council, the considerable expense of having the hand bells refurbished has been paid in full.
Tony Freeman, of Redditch Hand Bell Ringers, came to the meeting with members of his team, some as young as 10, to give guidance and tips. They played various tunes, then everyone tried their hand at the skill with considerable success.
Iris gave a report on the half-yearly council meeting, which she had attended with Lynn and Menai, when "Jungle Jane" was the guest speaker.
Events to look forward to are the Christmas party on December 12 and A Black Country Night with Aynock and Ayli on March 16.
