AGE Concern has teamed up with the Redditch Advertiser to seek out those unsung heroes whose altruism knows no bounds when it comes to helping an elderly relative, friend or neighbour.
We are looking for entries for the J Edgar Jones Memorial Award 2001, which is run by the town branch of the charity.
Edgar Jones was the founder member of the Redditch Senior Citizens' Association, which later became Age Concern.
And it is his spirit that judges will be looking for when they choose the winner who will be presented with a certificate and attractive statuette to be kept for a year.
To nominate somebody you feel has provided outstanding service to senior citizens, fill in the form in the Redditch advertisr today (Wed Dec 5).
Forms should be returned to the Redditch Advertiser reception at 12, Church Green East, Redditch, B98 8BP, no later than Wednesday, December 12.
