A HEREFORD soft furnishings shop that moved to bigger premises in August is celebrating with a charity challenge.
Dunelm's Mill shop moved to a 20,000sq ft unit on Salmon Retail Park in Holmer Road after it outgrew the Union Walk premises it had occupied for 10 years.
The Union Walk store was refurbished and turned into a material shop.
To celebrate the successful expansion programme, Dunelm is giving away £400 of vouchers to three deserving local charities.
"We're challenging the local charities and voluntary groups to put forward ideas for a room or rooms that they would like to freshen up using accessories such as lamps, rugs, throws and cushions," said store manager, Andy Conway.
Dunelm is a family-run business that started as a market stall in 1979 and now has 40-stores around the country employing more than 2,000 people.
To take up the challenge, charities and voluntary groups in Hereford should send their suggestions to: Dunelm Charity Challenge, Quiet Storm, Whitwick Business Centre, Stenson Road, Coalville, Leics. LE67 4JP.
