ON STAGE at Cheltenham Town Hall on December 15 will be the 60's chart topping group, Manfred Mann.
Now the 'Manfreds', in the line up are five of the original members, including lead singer Paul Jones, who has never dropped out of the public eye. Paul has a regular R & B gospel spot on Radio 2 and Jazz FM, and will also be performing with The Blues Band on the same night.
Paul's been touring with the Blues Band for the last 18 years, after Manfred Mann broke up in 1969. Much to the fans' delight, however, they reformed in 1991.
Smash hits like Do Wah Diddy Diddy and 5-4-3-2-1 will be ringing out with Mike D'Abo on keyboards and vocals, Mike Hugg on keyboards, Rob Townsend on drums, Tom McGuiness, guitar, Mike Vickers, saxophone and Marcus Cliffe on bass. The inimitable Blues Band will also be giving their all on the same night.
Tickets are available from the box office on 01242 227979 at £15.50 to £17.50p.
