ATHLETICS: Matt Vaux-Harvey demonstrated his speed and stamina to win the Birmingham Cross Country League Division Two race at Gloucester in 29 minutes 42 seconds.
Kidderminster and Stourport came third on the day with 160 points behind Solihull and Smallheath on 122 points and Severn AC on 129.
This leaves them in second place after two races.
Alan Jackson was fourth overall and second for the club in 31-40 and Steve Poulton third in 33-54.
Steve Smith (34-23), Rob Chrzan (35-05) and Neil Williams (35-48) completed the team places.
