THREE teenagers had to run for cover when an air rifle or ball-bearing gun was fired at them by youths in a car.
The boys, aged 13, 15 and 17, were walking along Worth Crescent, Stourport, when a car drove past and a youth inside fired a weapon at them, narrowly missing one of the boy's legs.
A police spokesman said: "Fortunately, none of the boys was hurt but weapons of this type can cause a nasty injury."
Anyone with any information about the incident at 6.55pm on Monday should contact Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888.
