KIDDERMINSTER League side Bewdley Rovers took Bewdley Town to extra time before the West Midlands One South outfit eventually won the Tony Tranter Memorial Cup preliminary round tie 4-1.
Town took a first half lead at Ribbesford Meadows when Rovers scored an own goal.
Both sides had chances in the second period before Rovers equalised to take the tie into extra time where Town's extra fitness showed.
They went into the lead when Paul Field floated over a cross which deceived the Rovers goalkeeper.
Field then scored the goal of the match when he volleyed in from 25 yards.
With five minutes left, 16-year-old Adrian Passey finished off a good move to seal Town's victory.
