WORCESTER City boss John Barton is poised to bolster his injury-depleted squad with the loan signing of Burton Albion centre half Mark Blount.
Barton, who signed Blount when he was Burton manager, is hoping to complete the move tomorrow and in addition boost his attack with the loan signing of a centre forward.
There is speculation Kidderminster Harriers' Stewart Hadley could be a target after he recently turned down a loan move to Redditch United.
The St George's Lane club's fortunes could be set for an upturn after a spate of poor displays with Barton hopeful of having up to five new faces in the dressing room by next week.
Midfielder Leon Jackson has already signed from Bilston Town in midweek and Barton has two offers in for players including a substantially increased bid for Bedworth United's Adam Webster.
"With a little bit of good fortune I would like to think that if our offers are accepted we could have a further two players in next week making it five new faces," said Barton.
