COOKLEY will be getting itself into the festive mood at the weekend.
The village's Christ-mas lights will burst into life on Saturday when villagers gather for the annual switch-on.
The fun gets under way at 4pm and the switch will be at 5pm.
Father Christmas will be turning up at the Eagle pub in the main street and there will be stalls selling a range of goods, carol singing, a raffle and seasonal grub including mince pies, sweets and mulled wine.
