PARENTS of teenage youngsters in Wyre Forest are being urged to talk to their children about sex and relationships before the Christmas party season gets under way.
National charity Parentline Plus hopes its new Time to Talk project will build on work already being carried out in the district to cut the number of teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
The charity says research indicates those who talk to their children about sex are less likely to experience teenage pregnancy in the family.
Parents and carers wanting details an contact the charity's helpline on 0808 800 2222.
