STRATFORD Racecourse is set to hold its bumper Christmas meet-ing on Saturday, December 29.
Following Stratford's success on being voted Best Small Race-course in the South Midlands and East Anglia area for the second consecutive year by the Racegoers Club, it is all systems go for the climax of a record year that has so far seen a 15 per cent increase in attendance figures.
The holiday meeting is always well attended and there will be a seven-race card with the first starting at 12.50pm and the last at 3.50pm.
Admission prices will be, Club £15, Tattersalls £11, Course £5.
Annual membership is now available for the 2002 season at a cost of £110 for full membership and £50 for those aged 16 to 24 or 75 or over on January 1, 2002.
Annual members receive a metal badge admitting them to 15 race meetings at Stratford, in addition to 15 reciprocal meetings around the country.
