PETER Springell, president of Broadway Bowling Club, welcomed Teresa Holland, Worcestershire Women's Association president to the club's presentation evening.
In his speech he congratulated Broadway on their magnificent success in winning six county titles courtesy of ladies singles champion Joan Parfitt, Fours champions, Sue Davies, Elaine Crosbie, Joan Parfitt and Viv Hall, Top Club, Double Rink champions: Men's Under-25 singles champion and Champion of Champions Paul Speake, who was also crowned Three Counties champion.
The club's men's section won the Concorde League while the ladies were runners-up in the Ladies section.
The Triple of Davies, Hall and Parfitt only missed out on a National final when, in the semi -final, they lost by one shot on an extra end.
The county president said the fabulous success of was down the dedication of all the members.
The night's chief guest then presented prizes won in this season's club competitions.
