LAST Friday the comic spoof 2001 A Space Idiocy was performed at the parish hall by North Country Theatre, a very entertaining production. It is a professional theatre company based in Richmond, North Yorkshire. The company has a special understanding of the nature of touring in a rural area and of educational drama. It is commited to giving exciting, entertaining and intelligent theatre to audiences whose access to live theatre is limited by relative geographical isolation or who simply enjoy sharing the experience of live theatre in their local community. Brian Clutterbuck the local co-ordinator for Arts Alive projects is organising another programme for next year. Watch out for the details and come along and support this imaginative venture.
