MIKE Cross enjoyed a successful day's golf at Worcester's Tolladine Golf Club annual finals' day to lay his hands on two trophies.
The nine-handicapper grabbed his first when he defeated five handicapper Phil Tipper in the Duncan Clarke Knockout.
He then tasted victory in the pairs competition with partner Mark Painter (14) when they held off the challenge of Mark Dewey (nine) and Mick Burrows (15).
In the ladies section Brenda Clinton triumphed when she proved too strong for runner-up Margaret Kupfer.
The club's A.T. Bennett 36-hole competition, named after a long-serving club secretary, was won by Roger Bowcott (21) who beat Alan Minton (17) into second place.
Finally the Teasdale Trophy was won by Stan Kupfer with Phil Tipper runner- up again.
Winners and losers will be out in force tonight at the club's annual presentation evening for all competitions played throughout the year.
