KIDDERMINSTER Harriers midfielder Dean Bennett has agreed a new two-and-a-half year contract.
The 23-year-old former Bromsgrove Rovers player, who was slapped on the transfer list in January, has been one of Harriers' most improved players this season.
Aggborough boss Jan Molby said: "Bennett has done very well lately. He wasn't doing himself justice earlier this year but to be fair to him he has taken that criticism on board and is now making good progress in the right direction.
"His contract was due to expire at the end of the season and I felt it was important we keep players like him. He is still young enough to improve and is the type of player we can build the team around for the future."
Harriers have no game tomorrow following their FA Cup exit.
