IN a physical encounter Malvern and Bromsgrove both fought a hard battle.
MALVERN SEAGULLS 12pts, BROMSGROVE 24pts
In a fast-paced first half, Malvern scored a deserved try through Carl Demeda, then shortly after, Jez Bader scored a lovely try, breaking from 25 yards out but unfortunately he pulled his hamstring and had to go off. Left with the bare 15 and no subs Malvern pushed for a third try but could not get it.
The second half started with Bromsgrove pushing downhill. It took 30 minutes to score but then the floodgates opened and they got another three tries.
