The English Symphony Orchestra's Brahms Cycle at Malvern Theatres draws to a close tonight (Friday).
The programme features Brahms's first attempt at writing a symphony as well as his final symphony and a serenade.
The Malvern-based orchestra, conducted by William Boughton, will be performing Variations of a Theme of Haydn, Brahms' Serenade No 1 in D and the lyrical Symphony No 4 in E minor.
The concert is preceded by a talk on Brahms symphonies from the viola section by Malcolm Henderson.
The concert is at 7.30pm and the talk at 6.45pm. Tickets are available from 01684 892277.
