PERRYWOOD Reserves are hot favourites to lift the Worcester and District Football League's Bernard Finnegan Cup after a 14-0 demolition of Bransford Rovers.
Jamie Preece and Steve Prickett both netted four times but ex-West Bromwich Albion trainee Chris Pearsy took the eye, scoring twice himself and setting up several of the other goals including a brace for veteran Pete Royale.
Oak Apple also hit double figures, Richard Green (4), Kevin Insall (3) and Dave Darling (2) all on target as they beat Farmers Boys 11-1. Matt Bedford bagged a brace in Reality Rangers' 5-3 extra time win at Abberley.
In the Katherine Rayer Cup an amazing score at Pinvin United saw visitors Talbot Head win 7-5. Matt Barry and Tom Hofton both notched hat-tricks for Talbot, Darren Attwood (3) and Lee Allmark (2) netting the Pinvin goals.
Wes Joyce grabbed all four goals as Kempsey beat Perrywood 4-1 and Jamie Roberts was another four-goal man as Upton Sports won a high scoring game 9-4 against Cutnall Green.
Shooting star of the day was Ed Palmer of Langland Sports who netted five times as Sports extended their lead in Sunday League Division Two with a 7-0 win at Plumbers Arms.
There were hat-tricks for Mark Mitchell in Keyz RM's 4-3 home win over Claines and Lee King of Northwick Reserves who won 4-0 at Pillar of Salt.
Rob Leonard and Tim Richings both bagged two for Virgin Sports in their 6-1 victory at Intermilokal as did Pete Eves and Chris Finch of Kays Athletico who beat Trinity Sports 5-3.
On Saturday Division one leaders The Vine continued their good run of form, the prolific Chris Freeman cracking another hat-trick as they hammered Plumbers Arms 6-0.
Lee Tracy and Will Hardy both scored twice as West Malvern beat Oak Apple 4-2 and other doubles came from Tom Holston in Upton Town's 5-0 success against Pershore Manor and Richard Haynes of Inkberrow Reserves who won 2-1 at Koinonia.
In the Premier Sam Clark (3) and Adam Baldwin (2) were on target in Martley Spurs welcome 6-0 win against All Blacks. Crown & Anchor came back from 2-0 down to beat Droitwich Spa 3-2, Robin Ontonavich netting twice.
