TWO weeks of fund-raising by the Broadway district branch of the Royal British Legion has raised £4,000.
Secretary David Folkes said the excellent amount came from both house to house and street collections on, and before, Poppy Day.
Mr Folkes said: "It was a tremendous effort and we wish to thank everyone who supported the efforts."
