AT the Warwick Assizes on Saturday, Arthur Ernest Murchall Dagnell (22), a gardener, pleaded guilty to having in the beginning of November, stolen 10 ferrets in the parish of Studley and a gun belonging to Mr Perks.
The judge sentenced the prisoner to one month in prison and said if, in the meantime, the lady mentioned, or anyone else would employ him so he could get away, his lordship would do his very best to get him out.
