THE Rev Kelso's comments that Harry Potter is 'dangerous' and 'evil' are ridiculous when you consider the subjects children are into these days.
To my way of thinking, things like WWF wrestling and many of the popular computer games are far more harmful as any violence can be re-created in the playground.
Harry Potter does at least inspire children's imagination and encourage them to read the other stories.
I think even the youngest child appreciates this is a piece of fiction and any reference to the occult or magic is purely fantasy.
Why should Rev Kelso feel there is a hidden agenda to the fantasy of this film? It is no different to old films like The Wizard of Oz which is just an old fashioned fight between good and evil, and good always wins - so what's wrong with that?
