A MALVERN volunteer has received an award from the Red Cross for 13 years of tireless service to the charity.
Tinie Lee, originally from Holland, has worked as a volunteer at the Great Malvern branch since it opened in November, 1988.
"The award means a lot to me," said 81-year-old Mrs Lee. "I was very, very pleased. It was so marvellous. I nearly broke into tears."
The Red Cross came to Mrs Lee's attention when she was in Holland in the Second World War.
