THE majority of fares on journeys from Great Malvern to London are to rise from January 6, despite the poor punctuality record of Thames Trains.
The price of a peak day single will go up by 3.1% to £25.90, with a 90p increase to £43.80 on a peak day return.
An off-peak supersaver return goes up 70p to £28.10 whilst a saver return rises 0.9% to £32.30.
Season ticket holders will get a better deal with prices set to fall by around 2%, meaning a weekly ticket to London will be £134.50.
The punctuality rate for the last 12 months for Thames Trains was 85% against a target of 92%.
The company said its ticket prices had fallen "in real terms".
