CONCERNS over safety outside two schools at Colwall Green were highlighted when a car allegedly mounted a pavement as parents dropped children off.
Police are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the white Peugeot GL car mount the pavement in order to overtake other cars outside Colwall Primary School at around 8.40am on Friday, December 7.
The incident follows calls for parents to take more care when they deliver and collect children to Colwall Primary and its neighbouring school The Elms, by car.
Parked cars and blind exits are among the hazards parents say could prove fatal to children.
The two schools have been consulted on how best to alleviate the situation.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened during last Friday's incident on 01432 276422 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
