FANS of BBC Radio 4's The Archers will be able to put a face to the voice as actor Marc Finn, also known as Greg Turner, takes on the role of evil Abanazer in pantomime at Solihull.

Aladdin, which runs at Solihull Arts Complex, also features homegrown writer, panto director and comedian Malcolm Stent as part of a multi-talented cast drawn from backgrounds including stage, music and opera.

The production also boasts sumptuous costumes and a professional dance troupe.

Redditch's very own Dave Sealey, who recently starred alongside Malcolm and Don Maclean in Back to Back, is also involved as musical associate.

Malcolm, a professional entertainer for almost 27 years, is now in his 10th season at Solihull.

Malcolm recalled meeting a boardroom chairman who whispered sheepishly his children still tease him with the memory of a large, tattooed 'ugly sister' who sashayed into the audience and flirted outrageously with their stiff-upper-lipped dad.

It runs from Saturday to January 13 and tickets cost £8 to £11.50 or £38 on 0121 704 6962.
