Richie Appleby has agreed to join Kidderminster Harriers until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old striker has impressed during a month's loan from Swansea City, and the formalities are expected to be completed tomorrow.
Harriers manager Jan Molby is delighted to acquire a player who also played under his management at Swansea.
Molby said: "Richie is another piece in the jigsaw, and this deal will enable both parties to have a further good look at each other. We can then sit down in the summer and discuss the future."
Appleby added: "The manager here tries to play football the way it should be played and it is great to be joining such a progressive club."
Harriers also hope to sign Colin Larkin on loan from Wol-ves for the rest of the season.
Hereford United caretaker manager Phil Robinson has urged his players to reproduce their FA Cup form and haul themselves back up the Nationwide Conference.
The Bulls have slid to fifth from bottom ahead of Saturday's home clash with Nuneaton Borough.
"The FA Cup has been a distraction but the lads have done remarkably well against Football League opposition," said Robinson.
"They can be proud of what they have achieved and have made the club a fair amount of money, but they've shown what they are capable in cup games and now have to show that in the league as well."
