Stourport Swifts' rollercoaster ride continued as they suffered a 4-1 Dr Martens Western Division drubbing at Weston-super-Mare.

A late goal from Kerry Giddings came as little consolation to player-manager Tim Langford who has now seen his side leak 10 goals in their last three matches.

Stuart Slater headed the opener on 12 minutes following good work out on the wing by Jimmy Cox.

Giddings went close to levelling, collecting an Alex Cowley only to push his shot wide from six yards.

Rob Clarke saved well from Mark Richards on 23 minutes but Jody Bevan drilled home a second from the penalty spot moments later following Asa Charlton's foul on Cox.

On 32 minutes a Jan Mulders clearance was charged down and the ball broke to Slater who, looking offside, netted his second goal.

Langford twice went close for Stourport before on 37 minutes, a sweeping move ended with Dave Hunt's centre finding Justin Pritchard who headed past Clarke.

Simon Marsh's header forced a goalline clearance at the start of the second period before Adam Nicholls went close with a header.

Giddings finally found the net for Stourport four minutes from time, Langford supplying the cross, but it still needed a number of good saves from Clarke to keep the tally down in the closing stages.

Swifts: Clarke 7, Charlton 8, Ulfig 7, T Nicholls 8, Mulders 7, H Marsh 9, Southwick 5 (Cooper 62, 7), A Nicholls 7 (Davies 71), Giddings 5, Langford 6, Cowley 6. Sub (not used): Dearlove
