YOUNGSTERS at St Bede's Middle School have spent the last four weeks collecting gifts for underprivileged children.
Pupils have filled 650 shoeboxes so far with items such as clothes, toys, writing paper and pens as part of the Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Appeal.
Class time and assemblies have been spent discussing the needs of other less fortunate children who will receive the presents on Christmas day.
