FAST-food workers were quizzed as part of a crack-down on people who may be working while collecting benefits.
Redditch Council teamed up with the Department of Works and Pensions for the spot checks on Thursday and Friday evenings.
In all, 68 statements were taken but two people were also seen running away by officers.
Files are now being checked to see if any people interviewed are claiming benefits to which they are not entitled.
Anyone with any information or who suspects someone may be claiming benefits to which they are not entitled can call the fraud hotline on 534164.
