REPORTS on the recent bingo evening, held by popular request at Shawhurst Community Centre, and on the annual Craft Fair, were given by Vice-president Beryl Parsons and treasurer Cynthia Holland.
Members were thanked for their help and contributions of cakes, craft items and raffle prizes.
Speaker Tony Bradshaw then took members on a tour of the Lake District with beautiful atmospheric slides, showing not only the well-known tourist areas like Lake Windermere and Coniston, but also the smaller lakes and tarns together with Celtic and Saxon remains.
The next meeting on December 19 will be the Christmas lunch with food provided by members.
