A REDDITCH man has been reunited with his daughter after 33 years - and found he has four grandchildren he never knew he had.
James Bond, 56, of Newland Close, Woodrow, was tracked down by ITV's Trisha show after his long-lost daughter Tracy Bates, of Glossop, Derbyshire, approached its makers.
Mrs Bates was invited onto the show to make an appeal but Mr Bond had already been tracked down by the show thanks to his unusual name - there are only four in the country.
Mr Bond was waiting backstage when Mrs Bates was making her appeal and then sneaked on and tapped her on the shoulder before an emotional reunion.
The last time he had seen her was when she was a small baby.
Mr Bond said he was shocked when he discovered he also had four grandchildren.
He has another child with his partner of 15 years, Diane.
Mr Bond said he intended to see his daughter as often as he can.
The show will be transmitted later this month.
