A COUNTY councillor wants to cut the number of long-term mobile classrooms at county schools.
Derek Prodger said although there remained a role for mobile classrooms, permanent buildings would help improve the education of youngsters.
Mr Prodger added there was still a need for temporary accommodation such as when there was an increase in the number of pupils due to housing growth in a particular area.
