Evesham 3, Stratford 3
EVESHAM played host to league leaders Stratford in the latest phase of DTZ West Midlands Premier matches.
The game started brightly with Evesham putting together some slick passing moves linking the whole team together with fluency.
The home side took the lead from a fantastic short corner, Haskins striking to Dodgson who stroked the ball past the stricken Stratford keeper.
This advantage was not to last as Stratford equalised on the counter attack.
Early in the second half the visitors took an undeserved lead by firing past new captain and keeper Nicholas.
Evesham bounced back to level the scores with the soon to depart former skipper Moss finding the net with a ferocious drive from distance.
Evesham now looked at the top of their game and were in front again as Dodgson and Perry demonstrated their awesome passing skills to tear open their opposition. Husbands was the recipient as he floated the ball over the keeper into the vacant net.
All the good work was undone when Dod-gson gifted a goal to Stratford in the closing moments of the game.
Stratford remain top of the league but Evesham can take away plenty of positives from a game they should have won.
