ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet runners were in action at the penultimate contest of the Inter-Club Race League at the Sneyd 10-mile Christmas Pudding Run.

Eddie Sanders led the club home in one hour 5 minutes 39 seconds, just ahead of Chris Miles in 1-06.

Debbie Sault knocked 14 minutes off her 10-mile best with a superb 1-14-04.

Other finishers: Rob Edwards 1-15-42, David Pye 1-17, Andy Norris 1-19-10, Norma Edwards 1-21-59, Nicola Beecroft 1-26-28 (personal best), John Amos 1-26-30, Heather Harrison 1-29-26.

Amos and Sanders are guaranteed first and second in the race league, while third-placed Norris leads Miles by 18 points.

He only needs to run the final event at Wheaton Aston to take the final trophy.

The ladies title is more exciting with Beecroft taking the lead from Irene Sanders.

However Sault is also in with a chance as 19 points separate the top three women.

The club's marathon runners were in action at Luton with Craig Freeman recording a fine 3-50.

Wayne Slater finished in 4-06 with Les Jones and Martin Proudler completing the three-lap course in 4-30.

E Sanders ran the Wolverhampton Turkey Trot five miler in 31-31, followed by Richard Baker (35-58) and I Sanders in a personal best of 42-30.
