IT was business as usual at the top of the Stratford Alliance Premier Division but, elsewhere, strange things were happening.
Redditch Boro suffered only their third Herald Division One reverse of the season - a result that allowed Needlemakers Lions to extend their advantage at the top to 11 points.
Alcester Lions increased their lead to six points after a 3-1 win at Campden and Badsey United Reserves failure to beat Ilmington Revolution.
There was also a heavy defeat for last season's champions, Shipston, who slumped 8-0 at Henley Forest, while FISSC Reserves won for the first time when edging out Clav-erdon Old Boys after extra time in the Nursing Home Cup.
Tom Helbert grabbed the goal that keeps Campden Town on top of the Journal Premier Division but a Mark Haughton brace ensured Badsey United remain level on points after a 3-1 win at FISSC.
Bretforton Old Boys hit seven at hapless Bidford, while Henley went one better as six different players found the net.
Paul Linton's double helped Spartak Park see off Redditch, while Luke Poole also scored twice for Needlemakers at Tysoe.
An own goal helped Long Com-pton's case at home to Stratford Spartak with whom they swap places in mid-table.
Darren George, Damian Webb and Neil Parker found the net for Alcester Lions at Campden but the main story was at the bottom where Henley swapped places with Alcester 2000 after a 3-0 away success.
Mark Schaus and Paul Booth scored the goals that brought a glimpse of a smile at the Shipston Club despite a 2-2 home draw with Quinton, for whom James Bunn and Greg Warren replied.
