A FOURTEEN-year-old Kidderminster Guide has her sights set on the far east after being shortlisted for a place at an international camp in Thailand.
Laura Webb needs to raise £2,500 to enable her to attend the camp near Bangkok in December 2002.
Laura, who attends Haybridge High School in Hagley, said: "I'm absolutely thrilled. It's the chance of trip of a lifetime. I'm looking forward to meeting new people." Laura Webb who hopes to fly to Thailand next year.
Some 30,000 guides worldwide including 2,000 from the UK are due to travel to Shattahip next December for the three-week camp.
Laura, who is a member of the Broadwater and Wolverley Guides has raised £550 towards the trip.
