JAN Molby has given further indications of his plans for the future by handing Stuart Brock an extended contract.

The 25-year-old, one of the most improved players of Harriers' second season in Division Three, has signed until the summer of 2004.

Brock lost his place to Tim Clarke in the last campaign but has come back strongly with his only blip a red card for violent conduct against Swansea City.

His new deal, which was due to finish at the end of the season, follows midfielder Dean Bennett's two-and-a-half year commitment to the club.

Many people were expecting a new goalkeeper to be signed for this season but boss Jan Molby's faith in Brock has been rewarded so far.

The shot-stopper has played a crucial part in Harriers' impressive defensive record which is the second best in the division.

And Molby believes he is as good as any other keeper he has seen in the competition.

Meanwhile, Harriers U-18s progressed to the Worcestershire Youth Cup third round with a 3-0 win over Tipton Town.

Inderpaul Khela, Terence Carpenter and Richard Langford scored.

The U-19s beat Northampton Town 2-1 in the Football League Youth Alliance. Matt Lewis and Simon Dew grabbed the goals.

Harriers are set to host Cambridge on Saturday (11am).
